Villa Casamonti, thanks to its location, provides climatic and environmental advantages. It offers trekking among woods and springs (information available locally).
Very important, however, is the easy reach of cities of art like Florence (22 miles) and Arezzo (30 miles), which takes less than one hour in car or public bus. The visit to the artistic treasures of these cities, usually very hot in summer, is more pleasant if the relax time and the nights are spent in the fresh climate of Villa Casamonti and of its woods. The Casentino on its own offers quite a number of opportunities to pay a visit to places of artistic and cultural interest, not to forget gastronomic interest....
